Diving Rottnest Island

We offer a variety of dive packages aboard our 43ft catamaran SV Capella and our 55ft Crowther Sailing Catamaran 'Windcheetah'. Between September and April each year we offer dive trips around Rottnest Island. From March-September we operate from Exmouth on the Ningaloo Reef.

Capella provides the perfect dive platform – Being a catamaran she is very stable, her rear transom lowers down to water level for easy access and egress from the water, 3 big steps make for an easy stride entry and the lowerable ladder at the front of the vessel is perfect for those that would like to walk into the water. We also have a 4.5 m centre consol zodiac with a 50hp outboard, ideal for zipping out to certain dive spots. Windcheetah is a 55ft Crowther Sailing Catamaran purpose built for charters. She has a spacious undercover lounged rear deck, large cockpit and offers plenty of shelter from wind and sun.
All of our crew are experienced divemasters and know the waters around Rottnest Island like the back of their hands, having dived the various sites for years. We can guide you through historic shipwrecks, humongous underwater caverns and through shoals of fish.

All dives include either morning or afternoon tea with a cuppa to warm you up when you get out. Why not have a quick rinse off with our hot water rear deck showers to get rid of the salt.

Minimum of 6 Divers 1 boat dive $79
2 boat dives (including lunch) $149
Rental Equipment cylinder and weight belt (per day) $28
BC, reg cylinder and weight belt (per day) $49

20m of water and home to up to 20 grey nurse sharks!!!! What an awesome experience.

A magical experience in 15-18m of water swimming through a system of elaborate caves.

5-10m in depth and lying in a sanctuary zone these wrecks date back to the 1800s… amazing piece of maritime history preserved with plenty of coral and fish life growing around it. (brilliant for a night dive!!)

A fantastic wall full of fish, coral and colour – heaps of swim throughs.

More awesome swim throughs and loads of fish and crayfish.

In 20+ m of water and the chance to see pelagics at the right time of year.

There are numerous other sites around Rottnest. Access to the various sites is weather dependent. We can only take certified SCUBA divers – please bring your certification card with you. We offer full PADI dive courses conducted onboard over 4 days at Rottnest island – Give us a call for more information.

 * Please note we aren't currently operating Public Diving tours, although Diving can be arranged as part of a private charter
